Bridgefield Guest House
Description
Bridgefield Guest House is Margaret River’s original guest house - a heritage retreat for couples and travelers who value atmosphere, character and a sense of place. Set at the entrance to town just over the river and within easy walking distance of cafés, galleries, restaurants and karri river trails, the property blends historic architecture with refined, romantic accommodations. Spread across three distinctive buildings, Bridgefield offers a range of stays from private courtyard rooms to elevated suites with forest-view balconies, spa bathrooms and kitchen facilities. On-site Italian restaurants add to the experience, while winter evenings invite guests into the shared lounge warmed by an open fireplace and antique furnishings. Set within Bridgefield’s separate Gallery building and positioned away from the on-site restaurants, the Merlot Room offers one of the property’s quietest stays, with a private courtyard and outdoor seating for two. The room features classic timber paneling, a queen bed, private private bathroom, TV/DVD, reverse-cycle air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. Guests enjoy access to a spacious shared sitting room and kitchen within the Gallery building, complete with a 65-inch Samsung Smart TV. Please note that this room category is suitable for adults only and cannot accommodate guests under 18 years of age.
