A private room w/half bath, shower available in main bath, washer, kitchen facilities and storage. It’s 1 mile from Silver Mountain Ski Resort, 1/2 mile from Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes and bike rentals, indoor all-year water park 1 mile away w/hot tub. It’s a comfortable, clean room to rest in after your favorite sport or traveling through. A tubing river, the Coeur d'Alene, is nearby. Pets okay. Cats on premises but not allowed in guest room. Outside seating in garden. Fire pit w/ seating. The space Guests have a small fridge in their room and can use the washer and dryer for a $5 fee. There is a small freezer available for your use as well. Coffee made to your liking, or tea, is available on request. Offstreet private parking with secure storage is available. Guest access To access the private parking and your semi-private entrance, turn left into the alley just north of W Mullan and Helen St. You will see a rock covered parking area identifiable by the Stain glass window as you drive in and tall wooden fence on the driver’s side. During your stay Brochures and tourist information along with a Phone book is in the room to help you plan your stay. Guests are welcome to sit outside in the garden on the lawn chairs and a small picnic table weather permitting. I will usually be around and available for questions and conversation if that is your preference. Otherwise, I respect your privacy. Other things to note A popular night spot, the Snake Pit, is 5 miles down the freeway. There are also several restaurants in town including a Chinese and a Mexican restaurant. Bicycles can be rented in season to explore the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. There are hiking trails and tubing rentals in the area as well as the bike rentals. Wallace, a popular tourist town is 9 miles away and Trail of the Hiawatha, a scenic ride down a paved bike trail is just east of Wallace. There are also good restaurants in Wallace. The gondola for Silver Mountain skiing and snowboarding is 1 mile away. There are summertime events on Silver Mountain for mountain bikers as well.
