If you wish to have the windows open then you must turn off the airconditioner. When not in the guesthouse please ensure you close all the windows so when it rains there will be no water damage to the guesthouse. We are on a well which is safe to drink. We enjoy the clean, county water but you may not so you might want to bring bottled water. We are on a septic system, so nothing non-organic can go down the toilet, except toilet paper. All feminine hygiene products, baby wipes, diapers, q-tips and make-up wipes must be disposed of in waste baskets. No shoes are to be worn indoors. Visiting Prince Edward County does require your own vehicle. There is no public transit or Uber in the County, although there are a number of taxi companies and car services for hire.
