Of note, we are proud that our farmhouse was built in 1832 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Because it is located in the countryside, a setting that most of our guests are pursuing, it is supplied by well water. It can sometimes have a very faint sulfur smell. The water has been tested and is safe to drink, cook with, and bathe in. We do also provide a Water Drinking Dispenser for those who are averse to the taste of well water. As seen in the photos, the farmhouse is located on a road. We just installed all new windows February 2022 which will help with traffic noise, but if you are very sensitive to noise, you are welcome to use fans located throughout the house to provide white noise. Additionally, the lawn is mowed every Thursday.
