The Casita is a cozy tiny home. Located just outside Salmo on a 54 acre property with private trails. Easy drive to Nelson, Whitewater, Castlegar, Fruitvale, Trail and Kootenay Pass. Perfect for a single person or couple as a base for your next Kootenay adventure. Features one bedroom with Queen size bed, kitchen with 2 burner induction stovetop, toaster oven and bar fridge. *New! We are in the process of adding a bathroom onto the Casita which will be finished by May, 2026* The space The Casita is situated on a 4 acre section of our 54 acre property. The Casita is close to our house and shares yard space but also has its own private covered outdoor seating right off of the bedroom sliding door. The 4 acres is easily accessible just off of Highway 6 north of Salmo (towards Nelson). The remaining 50 acres of property is treed and has private trails that head up to viewpoints overlooking the Salmo Valley. Next door to our sauna rental Other things to note If you are looking for a larger space for more people, we have another airbnb listing on our property that is an off-grid, hike in access only cabin that sleeps 6 (Keystone Cabin). *Pease note that we have a yurt next to the casita that we rent for community classes (Dance & Yoga) on Weekdays as well as some workshops on weekends.
