The space The home is designed for small groups and families to have some good ole fun and brings modern amenities together with a retro nod to yesteryear. The ocean’s horizon greets you, visible from the elevated neighborhood street including right in front of the home. Keyless entry to the classic cape cod cedar home, enters our guests into the game room. There you'll find an authentic 1981 Skee-Ball machine originally from Coney Island, NY setup for unlimited free play (House high score, 550!) and a classic shuffleboard table. The main open concept living space is perfect to prepare meals, beverages and consists of a brand new chef’s kitchen w/ oversized granite island and bar seating for 4, dining table for 6, and fire-placed living room. Enjoy movie nights with Netfilx, Disney+, Amazon Video. Or play some music through the voice-activated speaker with Spotify pre-loaded. The couch in this room opens into a queen-size memory foam bed if extra sleeping is needed. Towards the back of home, are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom can accommodate up to 4 with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin bunk bed above + a slide out trundle twin below. A common bath separates this room from the en-suite bedroom which has a new queen size pillow top bed and its own private full bath. Enjoy the outside space from the oversized deck w/ table and chairs overlooking a large fenced yard and fire pit. Yard games, sprinkler, s’mores and smiles are encouraged. An attached shed houses a beach wagon, chairs, a cooler, corn hole and extra space to store bikes, strollers, outdoor gear. An outdoor seasonal surfboard rain shower offers a refreshing way to rinse off all that sand and sunscreen. The paved driveway fits two cars. Extra parking is available on our one-way street directly in front of the home. You'll spot the ocean horizon from the front yard and it's an easy 5 min walk down to the sand. My wife is a nurse and we take cleanliness seriously for our guests. The home is professionally cleaned and sterilized between every stay. Old Orchard Beach has been a tourist destination for 125 years. A 5 min walk from the home will put you on the main boardwalk where you’ll find shops, restaurants, all with a fun, relaxed vibe. Continue another few min to arrive at the historic and iconic Old Orchard Beach Pier jetting out into the ocean. That area also includes a giant arcade, candy stores, ice cream, fun beach stores, casual beach restaurants, and amusement park. The merry-go-round is antique, and the memories made are timeless. Beyond OOB (short for Old Orchard Beach), the foodie capital of Maine, Portland is a 25 min drive north. There is a lot to explore and amazing food to be sampled. Maine is home to much more than lobster with many small breweries, local oyster shacks, and thriving artist scene. Guest access The entire property is yours to enjoy in privacy during your stay.
