Whether you enjoy tournament fishing, recreational water sports, gigging frogs, duck or alligator hunting, watching eagles roost, catching bream, retreating from this crazy world, reading the latest novel, binge watching sports, playing games with the family, or drinking coffee on the deck, this is the place for you. Located on Big Water across from Duck Refuge and Fort Scott Islands, you can easily crank up, leave the dock, and in a few minutes be fishing, hunting, or enjoying a family outing at Chattahoochee or East Bank Parks; picnicking, swimming, hiking, or swinging the kids on the playgrounds. River Roost is equipped with every amenity: quick access to outstanding fishing and hunting; picturesque, peaceful nature to relish; a dock to tie-up your boat; WIFI to enable contact with your grandkids; a well-equipped kitchen to create your meals; smart TVs and DirectTV in the living room and each bedroom; a porch to sit and spend the day reading; a picnic table for family gatherings; a fire pit for cool nights; a deck to enjoy that morning cup of coffee; board games to play; a churn to create home-made ice cream; a grill; and excellent neighbors next door...(us). Have a pet you want to bring? We allow dogs at $75 fee, two dog limit. Be sure to let us know ahead of time that your dog will be lodging with you. Guest access You'll have access to the whole house except the basement, detached garage, and attic space. The open living area and large ensuite bedrooms and bathrooms makes the house easily accessible with a wheelchair. The nightly rate is based on up to 6 guests. The cabin can sleep up to12, counting children and adults. A nightly fee of $20 per person will be charged for additional guests over 6 people. Have a dog you want to bring with you? Dogs are welcome at a $75 fee/ Just let us know on the rental form that your dog will be traveling with you. Remember the woods and lake are home to creatures that are not dog friendly, so be sure to keep your dog on a leash when you are outside the cabin. Other things to note There are many fishing tournaments on Lake Seminole throughout the year. The Roost is excellent lodging for the ABA, high school, and local bass tournaments. One master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet with excellent sunlight that can serve as an office, study area, or craft room. The walk-in closet can also function as a baby or toddler's room, as it would easily accommodate a port-a-crib plus all the infant paraphernalia needed when traveling with a child.
