Description

Welcome to the "King of the Hill"—the ultimate "game room," and "fan-cave" for families, couples, and solo travelers, in the heart of St. Louis' "Little Italy": The Hill! The open, industrial-chic loft space has exposed brick, all new kitchen appliances, polished concrete counters, slate bathroom, spacious deck, comfy queen master, and twin-over-full bunk bed. The unit was recently updated with a central HVAC unit. Fun includes Pac-man, Kid Friendly Darts, Atari, Air-hockey & board games! The space No-contact-self-check-in with keypad. Centrally located with easy highway access to 2 major highways. The Hill is a few steps away over the footbridge and easy to reach for visiting the shops, parks or dining. The living area has 12 foot ceilings and an array of games: air hockey, Pac-Man, kid friendly darts, board games and cards. There is a smart TV, DVD player and WIFI internet for some down time or a movie night. The kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal including pots, pans, olive oil and spices. Several award winning Italian restaurants are just a few blocks away for dine-in, curbside pickup or delivery. The historic Italian neighborhood is safe and pleasant for walking around to see attractions including the beautiful architecture of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, the new Piazza Imo with its massive Italian fountain and custom-made iron gates, and Hall of Fame Place where Yogi Berra, Joe Garagiola, and Jack Buck lived. The beautiful Missouri Botanical Garden is also just a short walk away. The loft is a short drive to Forest Park, Zoo, The Science Center, The Muny and Fox Theatres, Arch, The St Louis Aquarium and Union Station, City Museum, Downtown, Central West End, Universities, Hospitals, Busch Stadium, and more. So much to see and do in St Louis you would need to stay a week to see it all. Reminder there is one flight of steps taking you up to the living space. This space is not suitable for toddlers due to the stairs. *For your safety and the security of the property there are two outdoor cameras monitoring the front and back of the building. **Please note: There are downstairs guests. The old wooden floors leave potential for some foot traffic and noise to the unit below you. While we want kids of all ages to have fun please keep this in mind and limit your running and jumping. Consideration is asked of all guests in both the upper and lower units. Potential for highway traffic noise. It is important to note that since this is a loft there are no doors the bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own hallway leading to it for privacy. *** THIS SPACE ACCOMODATES GROUPS OF 4 OR FEWER ADULTS and FAMILIES OF 5 (ADULTS/CHILDREN). Guest access Whole loft to yourself Other things to note Reminder you will need to walk one flight of stairs to the upper loft area. Not suitable for toddlers due to stairs. Things to know: Hot water heater is the same as in any single family home. Large groups may need to stagger shower times.
