Morgan State House Inn

The Morgan State House Inn is an elegantly restored 19th century building. It is located in the Washington Park Historic District and is close to many of Albany’s downtown attractions. Suites and apartments at the Morgan State House have seating areas, work desks, and satellite TV. Some suites are equipped with free Wi-Fi. Apartments have kitchenettes or full kitchens. The Morgan State House serves breakfast every morning and free Wi-Fi is available in the hotel’s common areas. The nine-foot double-glass doors lead into our largest guest room, which is bathed in sunlight from an enormous artist’s skylight (skylight does not have shades). The mansion’s first owner, Alice Morgan Wright, used this room as her art studio. The room is a favorite for honeymooners and romantics, with its king-size upholstered bed, love seat and wing back chairs next to a Vermont Castings gas fireplace.
