Walk or cycle along a quiet country road following the river to Greenbanks Hollow Nature Trails and one of the area's historic covered bridges. VAST (snowmobile trail) access is a few hundred yards from the property, and several well-loved cycling routes pass nearby. Joe's Pond, The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, Danville's town green, groceries, and restaurants are within a few miles. Local breweries, including Danville's Red Barn Brewery and Greensboro's Hill Farmstead, and artisanal foods producers make for satisfying epicurean journeys.
