Eden House - A cozy chic mountain escape

The Eden House is a destination nestled on Massanutten Mountain in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Take in the simple sounds of nature in this peaceful woodland escape located just outside Luray and only 35 minutes from Shenandoah National Park. It is perfect for a family vacation, a small group gathering or a romantic retreat! Small children must be supervised at all times for safety. We recommend AWD/4WD to access the property, the roads are all gravel and can be steep at times. The space The main house is made up of an open living area with a master bedroom and en suite bathroom in the back. There are two additional bedrooms and one full bathroom in a private side guest house. The screened-in porch is almost as large as the living area and provides a shady summer retreat. There is also a spacious loft space with an additional Smart TV and Wii gaming system. (The ladder to the loft space is steep and we do not recommend children under the age of 10 using it without parental supervision.) You can cook your own meals in our well-stocked kitchen and eat at our kitchen island or outdoor dining table. Cap off your day relaxing in the hot tub and later, a fire in the fire pit - outdoor camping chairs provided. Additional amenities: 6-person hot tub There is no dishwasher at the house Outdoor Propane grill Fire pit Smart TV with DVD player Games available for use Adjustable thermostat Guest access Please use only AWD/4WD vehicles to safely access the property, due to the mountain terrain. You will have access to the entire home including the loft space! Two twin beds are available in the loft, however no linens are provided so please bring your own sheets or sleeping bags for use. The owner storage areas are locked for your safety. Other things to note For those who must remain connected, we do have satellite internet but it will seem slow. It's sufficient for web browsing but not video conferencing (Zoom, etc.). During inclement weather the signal will get weaker so you may want to plan accordingly - we have board games, DVDs, yard games, a Wii gaming system and a Bluetooth speaker available for other entertainment - or just enjoy relaxing and unplugging! Cellphone data signals are decent with all major service providers.
