Blue Plate Beach Cottage

Relax and enjoy our cozy renovated cottage one block to the beautiful private/association Lake Michigan beach and steps from the newly completed Red Arrow walk/bike trail. Excellent location for biking, hiking, shopping, bakeries, restaurants, and breweries. This cute scandi-meets-boho home is a fully equipped, clean, and comfortable option for couples and small families looking for a fun and care-free beach vacation. Well behaved pups are welcome. The space The light and airy great room features a kitchenette, dining area, and lounge/TV space. The kid-friendly bunk room sleeps four. The full bathroom has closet space and a full-size washer and dryer. A lofted queen bed sits above the bathroom (requires climbing a vertical ladder.) A comfortable full/queen pull-out couch, with bedding, is in the main space. The cottage has a deck off of the great room, through the sliding door, and a semi-enclosed area in the back for grilling and lounging. A five-minute walk down quiet Sunset Lane brings guests to the beach (see photos) which is one of the best in Harbor County and limited to the homes in the area. Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage and outside grill, eating, and lounge space. Parking for 2 cars also provided. Other things to note Beach towels and two beach chairs are provided. The cottage fronts Red Arrow Highway. Guests who are sensitive to noise may be bothered by daytime traffic and the occasional train that passes on tracks on the other side of the road.
