This historic yet fully updated cabin is 2 bedrooms, 2 bath and is available to a maximum of 2 guests, with a minimum 30 night stay. Bean Blossom Covered Bridge sits on this property with Bean Blossom Creek winding through it. Enjoy inspiring views of the bridge & surrounding property and reconnect with nature. The space Bean Blossom Homestead is comprised of the Historic Homestead Cabin (guest cabin), Sweet Pea Cabin (owners residence) and the 1880 Bean Blossom Covered Bridge. The Homestead Cabin offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is available for up to two guests. The property is a perfect option for an extended stay to immerse in nature, to work on a creative project or for a month to month furnished rental. The cabin features keypad entry and Nest technology including a Nest Thermostat and Nest Protect CO2/Smoke detectors. The kitchen is fully equipped with new KitchenAid Appliances and includes a Reverse Osmosis water faucet. Guests have the option of using a traditional drip coffee machine, a Keurig coffee maker, or a Bodum Pour Over. The kitchen also offers a Nutribullet, a juicer and an electric tea kettle. Guests will enjoy the screened porch off of the kitchen, as well as the patio overlooking Bean Blossom Creek. The Homestead participates in a comprehensive recycling program. Both restrooms have low flow Speakman Icon shower heads and dual flush toilets, while most lighting is LED. Both queen beds are new West Baden Springs Hotel Series mattresses, hand made locally in Jeffersonville, IN. All bed sheets are organic cotton while pillows and comforters are hypoallergenic down alternative. Guests can peruse the large library focused on nature, wildlife and Indiana history. As the Covered Bridge sits on this property, guests have exclusive views of, and access to the bridge from the cabin and throughout the grounds. Other things to note The cabin has very basic WiFi sufficient for watching the the smart TV. If a reliable internet connection is required for work, guests are advised to bring a hotspot with them.
