The property occasionally hosts small events and continues to be thoughtfully improved. Local Notes Elm Seed Beetles Siberian elm trees in the neighborhood occasionally attract harmless elm seed beetles during midsummer. They are easily managed if seen indoors. Property Improvements We occasionally complete renovation work to improve the historic home. Work may occur between 8 AM–7 PM, though it is not constant. Children Children are welcome but must remain supervised at all times. Allergies & Pets Occasionally approved pets may be present on the property. The home is 130 years old, so guests with severe allergies should plan accordingly. No Illicit Drugs Drug use—including methamphetamine—is strictly prohibited and violations will result in removal from the property. Nearby Hospitals & Work Centers Guest access As a guest here, you have access to your specific unit. You will be given a key to access the room. There is plenty of street parking right outside of the home. You will share the living room, patio, and kitchen with other travelers, but your bedroom, bathroom, and balcony are private. There is a washer and dryer in the building and high-speed WiFi. The home is near local grocery stores, great restaurants, coffee shops, and the bustling Downtown area. During your stay We have automatically provided you self check-in details which are found in the reservation details. These contain all the info needed for locating the home, your room, connecting to Wi-Fi, the house rules, etc... At this time, we do not offer on site staff, so please, we can be reached on Airbnb if you have any additional questions. Any off-Airbnb communication is reserved for emergencies only. Thank you and have a great day! Other things to note We have exterior cameras at each exterior door. 1. Front door 2. Back door 3. Private deck door. Cameras record & recordings deleted after 5 days. All exterior terrain is diverse so be aware there are potential tripping hazards. Nonetheless it should be fine to pass for the average walker. We are a farm and we are doing many improvements to the property. Be aware. Please note that The Parlor, is a separate listing and is not part of your reservation. It is closed for remodeling It is a shared space in a 120 year old home. The furniture is not new and does have patina. There is potential for smells. There is potential for noise. As mentioned previously, expect to see other guests. Please note host is not responsible for guests allergies. It is a self check-in process and you agree to the house rules by reserving here.
