Located on West Lake Road, 6 miles from the town of Canandaigua, WEST LAKE ESTATE is a 5 bedroom, 3 full bath, 1 half bath, 2 story home which sleeps up to 10 people. There is access to the lake across the street; This spacious home with 3 porches provides views of Canandaigua lake from many rooms, and affords one or two families the ability to share this vintage home. There is 1 king bed, 1 queen, 2 double beds, and 3 twin beds, a spacious kitchen which seats up to 4 guests plus a bar and barstools. The dining room adjacent to the kitchen has a large dining table and seats 10. All appliances: microwave, large refrig, dishwasher, electric range, and wood burning fireplace. Originally built in 1840 as a farmhouse, the home is now expanded to 2500 sf. on 18 acres. Enjoy a fantastic view above the great water of Canandaigua lake, from this warm and inviting home! Access to the lake is across the street. A dock is provided for swimming off of via a ladder. The dock is shared with the WEST LAKE COTTAGES. Normally there is no problem with sharing as the size of the dock warrants only walking on, and climbing into the lake. The mooring is for guests who have a boat during the rental. During the early part of the season, the dock may not be in place because of water conditions. The grassy waterfront has 5 chairs and table; there is plenty of grass to put out towels and blankets. The WEST LAKE COTTAGES , which accommodate up to 8 people, has its own waterfront, deck ,and patio and living quarters. There is privacy between the two properties. Guest access I provide an information sheet on the home for all details regarding the use of the home. I will request a personal email after booking, and will provide thereafter. The info sheet has lockbox code. Guests enter the home on their own. Guests have access to the entire home. Other things to note Waterfront is across the street. Easy 2 minute walk. Just cross road safely please. THERE IS A PET FEE OF $ 35 /NIGHT, or $150/week. Payment needs to be done through the RESOLUTION CENTER ONCE BOOKED as there is no field in listing to add PET FEE.
