Lozier’s Lookout is a cozy 2 bedroom lake front cottage located on beautiful Millinocket Lake. Enjoy canoeing, hiking, biking, and dining close by, or spend your time casting a line off the dock, swimming in the lake and enjoying s’mores by the campfire. The Lookout has the feel of a cabin while still providing the amenities of home. Lozier’s Lookout is a lakefront cottage featuring 2 bedrooms, one with a full-sized bed, the other with a full/twin bunk bed. Both bedrooms have one dresser, a luggage stand and hangers for clothing. The cozy kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and has well water that is drinkable. The living room features a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space and chairs to lounge in. The front porch has a couch that is a pullout bed, table/work space, and sitting area to enjoy views of the lake. The bathroom is cozy, but has a shower, sink and flush. For your convenience there is also a washer/dryer and pack n play available upon request. Guests can access the entire space with the exception of some cupboards in the entryway that are locked for housekeeping use. The front yard, back yard, gazebo, fire pit, dock and beach area are all available for use. We typically like to give our guests their space, however are available for questions as they arise. This property is next door to our family camp, so if questions arise they are available as well. Otherwise, we like to allow our guests to enjoy the space as their own. Lozier’s Lookout is located less than a mile from New England Outdoor Center, the Big Moose Inn and Northwoods Trading Post. The property is a half mile off the golden road. Enjoy rafting on the Penobscot River, hiking in Baxter State Park, exploring in the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, mountain biking the Katahdin trails, fishing, boating (bring your own) and much more. The boat launch is approximately 1 mile from the cottage and can be seen from the cottage shoreline. Access to the property will require a vehicle. The property has private water frontage with a dock and beach area. We provide fire wood for the fire pit as well as a canoe, paddles, 2 kayaks, a paddle boat and adult sized life jackets for you to explore the lake. Please obey all state regulations regarding boating, fishing, etc.
