Soak in serenity, visit nearby wineries, go antiquing and of course canoe, kayak, or float down the river, or simply sit on the bank and listen to the water rush by. Walk through our wooded lot and you will see deer, squirrels, and Willy, our resident grandaddy groundhog (he loves apples if you want to bring him a treat.) The space This cabin is conveniently located in the country, but a 5 minute drive to quaint downtown Strasburg and local wineries! A visit to town is a the endless antique shops (Strasburg is the antique capital of Virginia), Box Office Brewery, bakeries, cafes, and the best ice cream shop in the Shenandoah area. The town also hosts a series of unique festivals and parades throughout the year. -1 hour 15 minutes from DC -6 miles to Front Royal (canoe capital of Virginia) -19 miles to the entrance to Skyline Drive - 18 miles to Skyline Caverns - 30 miles to Bryce year-round resort Guest access The entire cabin is yours to enjoy Other things to note Trash - Please leave your bagged trash by the trashcan. Our housekeeper will take it. *Do not leave trash outside as local wildlife will make a mess of it.
