Located less than .5 miles from both Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake, this cozy cottage is the perfect place to be comfortable with friends and family. The cottage is near local restaurants, several state/county parks, and only 10 minutes from downtown Muskegon where you can enjoy local breweries, museums and events. Have a dog? Our fenced-in backyard is perfect for pets and the floor is vetted non-scratchable. New paint, flooring, and amenities. Washer and dryer available for use in the basement. Luxurious bathtub/shower as well as an outdoor shower (drained for the season). Walk or drive to the nearby beaches and parks. Public boat-launch and party store (Ghezzi’s) within walking distance. Located next to a sailboat storage yard, enjoy sitting on the back porch and taking in the beauty of gorgeous boats in storage for the season. Each bedroom in the house is set up for comfort, and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and brand new appliances. The WiFi provides high-speed internet which is more than adequate to support a family of individuals each streaming media content. Our goal is to provide any resources you might need to enjoy your vacation near the shores of Lake Michigan! For the winter months, we've ensured the heating system properly works and that we have plenty of blankets. The walkways will be free of ice, and hot chocolate / coffee are ready for you on arrival. Entire home available to guests, including fenced-in backyard. Hosts live in Muskegon and will be available to answer any of your questions or address any problems. The Beachwood-Bluffton neighborhood is one of the best in Muskegon. This historical neighborhood was once the summer residence of many Vaudeville performers, including the famous Buster Keaton. With close access to beaches, biking trails, boating, and restaurants, you will enjoy your time here. A driveway with a covered carport can accommodate two vehicles. Beach access is just a 5 minute drive to Pere Marquette, and a 10 minute walk places you at the south beach area. Because Muskegon is not a very large town, Uber’s and Lyfts are not always available but do have service here. Local taxi companies are also available.
