Mallard Point has been a Northwoods getaway for the past century, formerly as Mallard Point Resort and now available as a unique multi-family rental for private groups. The lodging includes two cabins and the entire peninsula to yourself, including a sandy beach, 6-person sauna, docks, kids' nature play area, and an outdoor deck for gathering. Prairie Lake is just 10 mins. from Grand Rapids and within 20 mins. of Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and many of the area's prime fishing lakes. Our two cozy cabins sit side-by-side along the lakeshore. Each cabin sleeps 4 people (1 king bed and 2 twin beds per cabin). The water is shallow and gradual along our little sand beach, perfect for kids to splash and build sand castles. You may request it in advance if you prefer. Pet Policy ⇸ Please include your pet on your reservation so the pet fee is automatically added. ⇸ You are responsible for your dog while they are off-leash. ⇸ Bring towels for wet paws and fur. ⇸ Clean up after your dog outdoors. Our pet fee helps us remain pet friendly, however, it does not cover pet damage. Please be mindful of this if you have a heavily shedding breed, let your dog on furniture, or leave your dog uncrated while you're away.
