Our newly renovated 1882 Railroad House is located in downtown Waverly, AL.Waverly is a quiet & quaint southern town. An easy 10 to 15 mile drive to Auburn University/Football, RTJ Golf course, Gogue Preforming Arts Center and Downtown Opelika and & Auburn. It is located within a VERY short walk to The Waverly Local,Wild Flour Bakery, Standard Deluxe,& Fig&Wasp Antiques. Fully furnished,2bdrm 1 bath,WIFI,TV allows you to mirror your electronics using your data provider. DVD player. The space This old Railroad house was built in the 1882 by the Savannah & Memphis Railroad to house the foreman/workers of the RR. The railroad came through the center of Waverly until 1926, (Central of Georgia Railroad) when all trains were rerouted north of town. The Standard Deluxe music stage which is about 500 feet to the west! Waverly is within 15 miles of one the RTJ Golf courses & Auburn Football & Auburn University. Lake Martin is about 30 mins. west of Waverly. Close to the action but a quiet place to stay! AND Waverly has a fabulous restaurant, The Waverly Local, the WildFlour Bakery and the Fig & Wasp antique store. *NOTE This is a very old home located at the edge of woods. While we work VERY hard to keep bugs at bay, the occasional spider or insect is inevitable. **This is not owned by a corporate hotel chain. Guest access Rental is the entire house.
