Cottage in Vashon

Our lovely cottage is conveniently located off of the road that runs from the North end of the island to the South. It features 100-plus feet of private, accessible tidal beach waiting to be combed, where gulls chase off bald eagles as a blue heron wades quietly at the water's edge. This newly renovated, light and airy cottage is an enchanting, home away from home. The space The newly updated, light and airy cottage nestles into a beautiful, accessible, lively beach. The cottage welcomes you with three bedrooms, two plush queen beds and one bunk room (two bunks and one pull-out), an open living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large dining table with expansive views, one and one-half bathrooms, fire pit, and outdoor seating areas and propane grill. This easily accessible Beach Cottage feels like a world away with its serene beach, comfortable and clean accommodations, and sweeping views gorgeous--interesting in all seasons. The quaint cottage is really perfect for up to 4 adults and their kids. Storage is limited and the bedrooms are not large--this was built as a beach cottage for vacationers in the 1940s. We do not advise more than 6 adults at any time, especially in the winter. Guest access This is a private home, conveniently located off the main road on the island, which runs from the North end to the South. The cottage features 100 feet of private, easily accessible beach, by way of what used to be a brickyard's ramp. We'll leave the key for you--step in, kick off your shoes, and enjoy. Other things to note The cottage is conveniently located off the main road, that runs from the north end of the island, to the south end. The road sits behind the house, so the house is oriented to the water, not the road, but some road noise may be heard, especially during ferry loading and unloading times. Very few waterfront homes on Vashon are without many steps in or to the beach. The cottage's property is level, with only one step up to the exterior door, and one step within the home. We use an outdoor Nest Cam Doorbell, located at the main slider door, to monitor the exterior of the property. The Wifi code is on the side of the fridge
