Affordable In-Law Apartment in Brooklyn, CT

This is a great in-law style apartment which was fully renovated in 2020. It can be booked for short stays or more lengthy visits to Northeast CT. The apartment is one minute from Scenic route 169 and Route 6. It is 30 minutes to UCONN and ECSU. We are close toThe Pomfret School/Rectory School. It is 35 mins to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. My place is rural and peaceful. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. The space This rental is an approximately 550 square foot in-law apartment situated over the garage of our main home. The entrance is private through the garage and not associated with the main house. There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed and an air mattress that can be used in the living room or kitchen area. There is also one comfortable couch that could be used to sleep on if needed. Please note that space can be tight when the air mattress is in use so this is best for short term stays only. There is a full kitchen and one bathroom with a stand up shower. There is no bath tub. Cable tv/dvd player and wifi are included. An Amazon fire stick is included but please log in and out of your own account. A washer and dryer are also in the apartment. An above ground swimming pool and grill are available for use seasonally Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guest access Grounds, a propane grill, and above ground pool are available seasonally Other things to note ** PLEASE NOTE PET FEE ** All guests who are bringing a pet must include the pet on the booking request. A $50 fee will be added to all bookings which include a pet. We do wish this wasn’t necessary but we have had some guests who have left excessive fur behind. Thank you in advance for understanding! **DOG ON PROPERTY ** Since the passing of our beloved Golden Retriever, we have taken to adopting senior and hospice rescue dogs. Because of their ages and health status we do not always have them for long 😔 We currently own a 12 year old deaf blonde Dachshund named Oscar and a half toothless chihuahua named Frankie. You may see the two of them on the property. Frankie is skittish but Oscar is friendly! ** FULL FLIGHT OF STAIRS ** There is a full flight of stairs leading to the apartment. The apartment is not the best option for someone who is physically disabled or unable to easily climb one flight of stairs **
