Saint Albans Drive is a quiet residential community very popular with travelers due to its centralized location to beautiful beaches, downtown Nassau, Cable Beach, a convenience store, and corner package liquor store. The area quickly became a favorite for vacationers staying at the Colony Club Inn and Suites, Glowell hotel, Sandlewood Residences, and the Oasis Motel as they are within walking distance to some of Nassau's most popular attractions The Public bus transportation system called "Jitneys". A 10- minute walk to Bay Street intersection is all it takes to catch a bus to Saunders Beach, downtown Nassau or Cable Beach areas. Jitneys fares are $1.25 each way. They run from dawn to dusk every day 7 days a week albeit a little slower on Sundays and holidays.
