Blue Heron Retreat

We are now renting out our AIRBNB by the week minimum stay only. Stay the summer - enjoy life outside the city. Located in the quaint hamlet of South Lancaster, this beautiful, quiet loft is on top of our boathouse. This charming guest house is a tranquil retreat that promises an authentic cottage experience. No pets allowed. There is a canoe. Spend time watching rabbits, deer, herons, fish, other wildlife. Private dock for your boat. Fire pit. Fishing is great! The space We raise chickens for fresh eggs. Property is fenced 3 acres and 56 certified forest where there is a 1 mile walk through part of the woods. Guest access Guests have 2 balconies and a patio area with BBQ along with our fire pit. The fire pit is a great place to sit around at night and watch the fire flies. One balcony is over the water where you can watch our 2 resident herons and one Egret. Your can see the beavers swimming up the creek and watch the fish jump in spawning season. Other things to note Kitchen with basics, Microwave, coffee machine, toaster oven, toaster, ceramic grill, induction burner, slow cooker, 1 fridge with freezer. No breakfast served by host. Only registered guests are allowed on property.
