Mateo 39C at Nantahala Weddings & Events - no pets

The Mateos (named after our architect’s little son) are 4 small bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, 4.4 cu. ft. refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two people. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible. Pets are never allowed in 39C – this is a pet-free space ($200 penalty). The space The Mateos are situated on the 6.5-acre lake and mountain view property of Nantahala Weddings & Events. For wedding couples and their guests: Please book the tiny houses only for the same date range as the wedding couple’s stay at the venue. If a Mateo booking extends beyond those dates, it may overlap with another wedding party. If you’re unsure of the couple’s reservation dates or want to make sure your booking will not interfere with another event, feel free to message me (official Nantahala Weddings website —"Text Us!”) before booking. For non-wedding guests: The tiny houses are typically reserved for wedding guests during events at Nantahala Weddings & Events. If you’d like to book a Mateo and ensure no wedding is happening during your stay, please contact us through the official Nantahala Weddings website ("Text Us!”). We’ll gladly check the calendar for you! If a wedding does occur during your stay and you’re not part of it, please be especially respectful of the celebration. Give wedding guests their space and avoid visiting the main building or ceremony area while the event is in progress. Guest access The kitchenette includes a k-cup coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, and tableware/glassware for two people. There are hiking chairs in the Mateo to set up on the porch, and picnic tables overlooking the lake close by. Hair dryer an/or iron + ironing board are available upon request. We are in the mountains, but we are fortunate to have Starlink for WiFi. WiFi calling only. Cell service is not available. Other things to note This Mateo is never rented by guests with pets. There is a short but rather steep gravel walkway to the Mateos - wear good shoes!
