Glasshouse overlooking the Great Marsh
Come enjoy the Great Marsh of Chester County, PA. We have 600 acres for you to enjoy hiking, bird watching, biking our trails, kayaking/canoeing our marsh or just finding a quite place on the property to enjoy the outdoors. We also have a non-profit on the property called "Great Marsh Institute". The space The Glasshouse was originally built in 1953 by Montgomery and Bishop. They were students of Frank Lloyd Wright, the famous architect, designer, writer and educator. The Glasshouse recently underwent a three and a half year renovation and is now ready to welcome you. Guest access The entirety of the upper floor of the Glasshouse is reserved for you. This includes a fully furnished master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, an additional hall bathroom, two furnished bedrooms and an office space. Additionally, there is a fully equipped kitchen, dinning room, and living room with floor to celling glass windows and a cozy gas fireplace. You will also have access to the laundry room downstairs, complete with washer and dryer. We request that you remain on the upper floor as the basement is occasionally used by the family to access storage. However, we want you to feel at home in the Glasshouse, so if need be, we can inform you when we need to enter the basement through a separate entrance. This is a working farm so from time to time we may be driving by the Glasshouse on our UTV’s or tractor to access parts of the property.
