We’re located just minutes from the charming town of Creston and the U.S. border—an ideal base for exploring the Kootenays. Stay the night in our beautifully renovated and professionally decorated suite. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, this self-catering retreat features a cozy queen bed, private washroom, flat-screen TV, sitting area, and private entrances. The convenient kitchenette includes everything you need to feel right at home. The space This is Suite 3 of 3 in a row of private, self-contained units. As an end suite, it offers added privacy and features its own main entrance, plus a sliding glass door that opens onto a private balcony with a charming bistro set. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine while taking in views of the distant Skimmerhorn Mountains, watching horses graze on the hillside, or spotting birds and deer in the ravine below. At approximately 350 square feet, each suite has been fully renovated with all-new appliances, utensils, bedding, and bath linens. Your suite includes a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, microwave, sink, and all the essentials to prepare simple meals. A comfortable queen bed, cozy furnishings, 40” Roku TV, and free Wi-Fi provide the comforts of home with a rustic cabin feel. A sofa bed has also been recently added for additional sleeping space. The private en-suite bathroom features a stand-up shower, sink, and toilet, along with shelving, hangers, and a cupboard for your belongings. Guests are welcome to explore the property and nearby trails. A shared deck area with seating and a BBQ is available for your use. Depending on the season, you may also help yourself to fruit from our apple and plum trees—apples are especially plentiful! This suite is pet-friendly. While we follow a strict cleaning protocol, those with severe pet allergies may wish to consider one of our pet-free suites. A $25 pet cleaning fee applies per stay for guests bringing animals. Please note: we are not a hotel—this is our home, and we take great pride in offering a peaceful, farm-style retreat. You may hear typical country sounds, and we embrace natural living—bedding is line-dried when weather allows, and we avoid bleach and harsh chemicals. New! Guest access Guests have access to their private suite and balcony area as well as communal access to the yard, parts of the property and deck area. Other things to note We live on a peaceful acreage with dogs and horses, surrounded by quiet countryside. On-site parking is available, and the house and suites run on a private well and septic system. As we are in a rural area, wildlife is common—please stay aware when hiking or exploring nearby trails. We live on the property and are available if needed, but we also respect your privacy. Each suite is fully self-contained and has a private entrance, separate from our main home, though all suites are connected by a shared deck. All suites feature reverse osmosis water at the kitchen sink, perfect for drinking and making coffee. This suite is pet-friendly. If you have pet allergies, you may wish to book one of our other suites. A one-time $25 pet cleaning fee applies for guests bringing pets.
