Welcome to 'EVENTIDE", our cozy Cottage at the magical 8-acre Jasmine-by-the-Sea Retreat! Located 15 min away from St.George Island and Dog Island, 5 min away from Carrabelle Beach and 15 min away from St.James Bay golf course and the beautiful historic town of Apalachicola, we are located in a prime location! We are nestled in a secluded, private, fenced-in property with ocean views, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and with access to a small private beach. The space EVENTIDE is a unique Cottage, with its own private entrance and beautiful screened-in Pavilion . Outdoor table, umbrella and seating is provided. The residence has a modern, open-layout design with one KING size bed and a futon sofa that pulls out to full size. One bathroom, with tub, granite counter and walk in closet. Yoga mats and yoga "bricks" are provided, as are beach towels, beach chairs, ironing board and iron and a drying rack (antique!). A huge kitchen, fully equipped, Keurig coffee maker and with an eat-in table seating six. The interior space has uniquely artistic touches, with paintings, art work and vintage furnishings. The amazing outdoor garden spaces with native and exotic plantings add beauty, attract butterflies and birds, and bring peace to the stressed-out visitor. Other things to note CHECK IN: AFTER 5 PM CHECK OUT: 10 AM Guest access Gardens with seating, all lantern-lit at night. A screened-in Chinese Pavilion with hammock, Bistro table, sink, an additional table that seats 6. Guests can enjoy many nature walks through the various gardens...including the Meditation Garden, the Garden of the FIVE Orbs and the Butterfly Garden. There is also the great Observation Deck with swings, tables, umbrellas, Adirondeck chairs, sectional seating, a very large (54"-diameter) fire pit, and a beautiful outdoor Pool Table. There is also a small private beach right across the property as well. At low tide, guests and especially their doggies love edge-of water walks... Other things to note Well behaved, friendly and especially senior dogs are always welcome! There is a PET FEE of $100. Maximum of two (2) dogs please, under 60 pounds each . __________________________.
