The space Welcome to the original Kent Island Beach House offering comfortable water view accommodations for 10-12 guests, with a maximum occupancy of 14. Stay and Play at the "pink house" as most people remember it but it is really a coral color. Large yard and Private Beach Volleyball court overlook the Chesapeake Bay located in the waterfront Kentmorr neighborhood. This expansive almost 1800 sq ft residence boasts tasteful decor across its 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Instead of 2 stories high just think of it as 2 stories long. Enjoy the scenic vista from the attached deck, which extends from the open kitchen living area, offering a panoramic view of a private beach volleyball court and the picturesque Chesapeake Bay. Stroll through the serene waterfront neighborhood or simply unwind on our deck while grilling your favorite dishes. The luxurious Master Suite features a spacious King Bedroom with a dedicated workspace and TV, leading to a lavish ensuite equipped with his and hers sinks, a custom tile shower, and a relaxing jetted whirlpool tub. Adjacent is the Starfish Bath, a linen closet, and a 2nd King Bedroom. Journey down the hall to discover the 3rd bedroom, furnished with a King bed AND a California King bed, complemented by a dresser and TV. Additionally, a generously-sized private family room awaits, complete with large screen TVs and a grand fireplace, serving as a 4th bedroom with a daybed & trundle (equivalent to 2 twin beds), along with a full sofa bed, sofa, futon, and recliners. The convenience of the 3rd Pink Bathroom with a shower, adjoining this room, ensures comfort and privacy for guests. While not fully ADA handicap compliant, the presence of a ramp at the deck with a sidewalk leading to the back door by the garage renders this home wheelchair and walker accessible. Perfect any time of year...Off Season, picture yourself sipping warm hot chocolate by the fire as you enjoy a game of indoor corn hole with your family and friends. In Season, live life to the fullest on the open wrap around deck; just grill and chill; or walk over to the Kentmorr Beach Bar and Grill or the Kentmorr Marina across the street! What a place for meetups or an intimate corporate retreat! Great for families...your children will remember this sandbox forever! The beds are all made when you arrive. Sheets for the daybed/sofabed/futon are in the hall bath linen closet and spreads are in the big white cooler if needed. There are extra sheets and towels for your use and a washer and dryer are in the home. We are fully stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, drip coffee pot, blender, etc. The home has both propane and charcoal grills (bring your charcoal) and a firepit. We supply at least 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, body wash/shampoo, a roll of paper towels, a few trash bags, etc but don't supply lots of paper/plastic type items. Food Lion and Safeway are nearby for groceries as are dollar stores, liquor stores, and a Target. We are located on Kent Island in Stevensville MD just minutes from Kent Narrows. Come by Car, Boat, Bus, or Plane! Like our other properties, this home offers comfortable and scenic accommodations, ideal for the bridal party preparing for the big day, family vacations, romantic getaways, or small group retreats. Visit the Naval Academy, Annapolis, Baltimore, Easton, St Michaels, DC, and more. The KI Beach House home sleeps (10-12 comfortably) max 14 or up to 28 if you want to rent this home and the KI Beach House II by the Marina next door! About a mile from the Blue Heron Public Golf Course and only 2.2 miles from our KI Beach House III by the Bay in the Sunny Isle of Kent. Fish, Eat, Sleep, and Repeat – right here at the original KI Beach House. Guest access At the Kent Island Beach House featuring a beach volleyball court, guests have exclusive access to the entire home and yard, including views of the Chesapeake Bay, complete with a spacious attached deck with lots of seating. Please note, the laundry room, owner's closet, and garage are strictly reserved for owners' use only. For stays of 3 nights or more during peak season, guests may request the use of our bikes prior to check-in. Enjoy the convenience of walking over to the Marina or The Kentmorr Beach Bar and Grill to enjoy the fun and fabulous sunsets. Stroll around the waterfront neighborhood, admiring local homes, gardens, and wildlife. Additionally, the South Island walking and biking trail meanders along Route 8 (Romancoke Rd) from Matapeake State Park to Romancoke Fishing Pier for added enjoyment. Parking is complimentary for your convenience. Please respect neighbors and refrain from parking on the street as ample parking is available on our property on the concrete area by the garage, the grass lot behind the basketball net, or park angled along the fence in the grass across from the sidewalks. Avoid parking on what appears to be a driveway, as it is Lane Ave, and ensure it remains unobstructed at all times. Please be mindful that other grassy areas surrounding the house and beach are designated for essential systems such as the well, septic system, and drain field, thus parking is prohibited in these areas. Temporary handicap parking is permitted next to the ramp. The parking lot across the street is for Marina and Restaurant guests. Prior discussion is necessary for anything other than standard car, van, truck, or motorcycle type vehicles. We extend a warm welcome to accompany you on a walkthrough upon check-in, ensuring all your questions are promptly addressed. However, if this isn't feasible for us both, detailed self-check-in codes/instructions are available for your convenience the afternoon of check-in. Additionally, find a check-in/checkout sheet conveniently located in the welcome book.
