Elephants Lodge is located within the malaria-free Bellevue Forest Reserve, home to wildlife such as lion and buffalo. The lodge features natural gardens, patio’s and a lookout lounge overlooking the vast open plains of the Eastern Cape. Each room at Elephants Lodge has a patio, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks are served at various indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is a fire pit where guests can enjoy a nightcap after dinner. Guests may either book a Bed and Breakfast package or our Full Board Package which includes all meals and 1 outdoor activity per day (night stayed) on the reserve in an open game viewing vehicle, accompanied by a qualified game ranger. Outdoor activities include, game drives, giraffe walks, bush walks, bird watching and star gazing experiences. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day and sundowner drinks are offered at sunset. Younger visitors can engage in kid's excursions such as treasure hunts, scull identification and a visit to the Private Intensive Breeding Areas. Featuring free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer.
