The Goodale Park Overlook is a second floor suite in a fantastic vintage building. Enjoy a panoramic view of Goodale Park from the front balcony! Please note: this is a "guest suite" apartment and does not have access to a full kitchen (kitchenette only, as pictured). Please read “Other things to note” before booking. You will enter through the front door and walk up one flight of stairs. The suite includes: -One bedroom with a queen bed, a desk, and office chair -One bedroom with two twin beds -One full bathroom -The balcony, with two chairs and a porch swing for two -A living room with Roku TV, kitchenette area, and couch seating for 4. You will need to use your own streaming accounts for the TV; no cable or local channels are available for free. The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator with a (very small) freezer compartment, a Keurig coffee machine, a microwave, and coffee mugs. This area is designed for making coffee and very basic meals (we do not normally provide plates, silverware, drinking glasses, etc.), but please ask in advance if you would like these items for a longer stay. This is a private guest space with a private entrance within a larger multi-family home. No spaces are shared. There is not a full kitchen. Just coffee, mini fridge, and microwave. The home was built around 1900, and although it has been well-maintained through the years, please expect some of the character that comes with older homes, like creaky floors and the potential for hearing people in other parts of the building. There is a door in the hallway that connects to an adjacent apartment; this door will be locked from both sides. The suite shares the same HVAC system with another private living space in the building, so you will not have access to control the thermostat. We keep the thermostat at a comfortable temperature, but some rooms may be slightly warmer or cooler, since the space is quite large. We can provide fans and small space heaters, although most guests have found the temperature to be comfortable. Street parking is available for $3/night - this area is very popular and it is possible that you may need to park a short walk away during busy times. Some free parking is available about 2 blocks away. Laundry access is available only for guests staying 7 nights or longer. Getting to the laundry room will require you to go outside and around the building to a different entrance. The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only. You will need to log into your own streaming accounts to play content on the TV.
