Ideal conditions to enjoy the Northern Lights in our cozy little house. We are located 8 km from Hvolsvöllur and the main viewing points of South Iceland are a short drive away. Places such as Seljalandsfoss, Þórsmörk, Vestmannaeyjar, Vík and Reynisfjara are within 1 hour's drive. Everything is there to have an adventurous experience in Iceland. The space The house is located 8 km from Hvolsvöllur and stands alone in absolute peace. National Road 1 is 3 minutes away. The house has 1 bedroom, a toilet and a common room with a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a comfortable sofa bed (140x190 cm) that can sleep 2 people. In the immediate vicinity there are horses grazing all year round. It is particularly good to see the northern lights from the house where there is no light pollution. There is a 360° view around the house where Vestmannaeyja, Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla are among the things that come into view. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and the surrounding area. Other things to note The hot water in the house is heated by a watertank so it can run out if not used wisely.
