You have a home in Vermont! 5-star one-bedroom apartment has country charm and contemporary panache. A perfect retreat to enjoy rural serenity, stunning views, woods and fields. Everything you need: well-appointed with attractive, high quality furnishings, separate entrance, full kitchen, open living/dining area, cozy bedroom with queen bed. Cable TV, WiFi, and cell service. Plentiful free parking. Recent guests claimed heat an issue. It is not. No complaints before or since. The space A full kitchen is supplied with a variety of cookware and dishware. A large pantry offers extra shelving as well as small appliances (toaster, water kettle)., cooking staples (herbs, spices, olive oil), and basic cleaning supplies. Large closet with guest robes. WiFi on site. USB charging ports in both living area and bedroom. The views are spectacular in any season and our 23 acres of pasture and woodland abuts another 600 acres of undeveloped land for you to hike, picnic, and generally commune with the natural world that surrounds us. In warmer seasons, the gardens, outside spaces and fire pit offer opportunities to relax and recharge. Onsite master gardener available for garden tours. Inside entertainments include a swapping library and games/puzzles. Brochures for local sights and nature guides available. Resident craft beer expert always happy to provide recommendations for top-flight breweries to explore as well as tips for finding your favorites. Interested in your family history? An on-site genealogist can consult and point you to a wide array of Vermont resources for your research. Guest access Guests have full access to our gardens, fire pit, pastures and woodlands for x-c skiing and snowshoeing. Even in winter, guests can access outside amenities such as covered deck with seating and a boulder-ring fire pit. Grill available. Other things to note November to March it is usually snowy here. Snow tires and all-wheel drive highly recommended. Access to the apartment is through a garden and down a set of gently sloping steps. An alternate access without steps is available, but not as convenient to parking and may be difficult in winter. A stone on gravel pathway leads from base of steps to front entry. These may be a bit uneven. Fresh, sparkling country spring water. Tastes great! Two friendly dogs on the property. They may bark in their capacity as official greeters. They love pets and pats. There are multiple stone walls on property and along trails. We cannot guarantee their stability. Please to not climb or walk on them. To retard the spread of emerald ash borer, please do not bring in firewood. We will supply logs if you want to use fire pit. Bug spray and sunscreen are always good ideas in warm weather.
