Walk to tea house, restaurants, tennis and, basketball court, gym, park, grocery store and pharmacy. AC+electric fireplace for ambiance or heat. Garden privacy fenced with table+chairs,umbrella. Guest access Private door code sent before arrival. Arrive at your convenience. Come and go as you please. Well insulated thick walls means we hear nothing! The apartment is private with spacious front porch, swing, chairs, + table, for your use only. Peaceful meditation garden off the screened back porch. Private safe parking next to the apartment. Back gate is locked so you can leave your screened door open day or night. Open back gate (slides)to bring in equipment from your car. Other things to note This No Pet space is Clean and Allergy friendly. Assuming two guests share the queen bed, the futon can be used as a bed also. Please request the futon to be made up if needed. Third person fee is $ 10.00 per night. There are only 6 residential houses on Main street downtown. 2 of them are Airbnb's. We are The Main Cottage Alachua. People live in tiny apartments behind their shops and It is perfectly safe to stroll around in the evening as the streets are well lit and the APD is two blocks away. Michael Singer's TOU is 5 minutes by car. Our most loved and famous resident, his temple grounds are walkable and peaceful and his "talks" are an inspiration. The Hare Krsna temple is two miles up 235. Radha Govinda's House/Temple has a wonderful free meal on Sunday about noon on Main street. The art museum in Gainesville is awesome. Check my guidebook.
