Welcome to our roomy family-friendly BoatHouse in Swedish Lapland overlooking Lake Gäuta , Ryfjället & bordering Vindelfjällens Nature Reserve, 1 of the largest protected areas in Europe. 17 km away is Hemavan & the start of the famous 450 km King’s trail. Or try the much shorter Laisaliden Queen’s trail, or simply explore the area by canoe ! The Norwegian border towards Hattfjelldal , is 40 Kms away. Mo I Rana is 116 Kms where breathtaking coastal fjörds lead to Bodø and the Lofoten Islands. The space Our circa 120m2 BoatHouse is best suited for families with children rather than groups of adults. There is 1 large upstairs loft family room with a double bed & 2 single beds . Downstairs a small kid’s room with a bunkbed. You’ll enjoy a spacious living area & a balcony, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with bathtub, 1 with shower. Free use of canoes & bicycles . ( subject to availability) Guest access The top two levels of the BoatHouse ( not the garage ) is available for exclusive guest use . Free on site car parking . If we are not available to meet and greet guests personally , you will be provided with a code for the door and video instructions. There is a large free off-road car park. There is an area under the house next door ( LakeHouse ) , at the front , that guests can have access to activity equipment. Cycles , canoe paddles , life jackets etc. Guests in the LakeHouse next door will also have access to this room. Other things to note Sorry, no pets allowed. Free guest use of canoes and bicycles ( subject to availability) Please follow Scandinavian customs of not wearing shoes in the house. Blankets and pillows are provided however bed linen and towels are not included. Over some periods of the year bed linen and towels can be rented for 150 SEK per set. As is customary in Scandinavia , end-cleaning is not included. Guests are required to leave the accommodation to the same standard of cleanliness as upon their arrival. Cleaning products are provided to assist. If guests prefer, cleaning can be ordered at a cost of 1,500 SEK for the BoatHouse.
