Secluded Luxury Cabin Nestled in Smoky Mountains!

Tucked away in the Smoky Mountains with year round mountain views, the Rocky Road Retreat is a relaxing high end cabin to totally unwind and enjoy all the wonderful things in the mountains! Comfortably sleeps 8 people. Authentic wood work through out, granite counter tops, and great views through windows over looking the mountains! Enjoy beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains from the upper deck, top off your day with evenings in the hot tub or around the fire pit! The space When we are not in the mountains we love sharing our family cabin with others so everyone can enjoy all we love about the mountains! Here are some wonderful things to do while staying with us. Enjoy stargazing in the two person hammock, warm fires around the outdoor fireplace, soaking in the jacuzzi, playing fun games, such as corn hole, darts, life-size connect four, dominos, cards and more. Just at the bottom of the mountain you can go white water rafting and tubing in the Tuckasegee River. Feeling like exploring the local areas, there is so much to do! Many near by downtown areas to stroll through such as Bryson City, Sylva, Waynesville, Cherokee, Dillsboro, Asheville and Gatlinburg! Experience an array of activities during your stay in our cabin! From thrilling whitewater rafting and kayaking to serene paddle boarding and waterfall hikes in the stunning Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Explore Bryson City, Franklin, Sylva, Asheville, and Cherokee for culture and adventure. Enjoy scenic drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway, indulge in fly fishing, and witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Delight in picnics on the parkway, mountain biking on paved trails, and the enchanting Great Smoky Mountain Railway. Encounter elk, ride horses, and witness synchronized fireflies. For relaxation, try tubing or attend live music events. In winter, enjoy snow activities like skiing and snowboarding, and don’t miss out on visiting wineries, breweries, motorcycle rides, and flea markets for a memorable experience! You will need four wheel drive during winter weather, as the drive up the mountain is fairly steep in places on the graded gravel road once off the main road. We are a Christian family and there are family photos and Christian decor in the cabin as this is our home away from home. Hope you enjoy your stay and make many wonderful memories! We provide a starter amount of essentials such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, spray cleaner, and laundry soap, following that is is the guests responsibility to provide additional essentials. **2024** We’ve recently added a rainwater harvesting system that’s used for flushing the toilets—an eco-friendly upgrade that helps conserve our pristine mountain water. It’s just one of the ways we’re committed to sustainability while letting you enjoy the beauty of the mountains responsibly.
