Cabin on almost 70 acres with Bass Creek running through it. Direct access to highway 63 and minutes south of Columbia. Perfect setting for a family gathering or a relaxing weekend getaway. Established trails for hiking and biking with rustic benches to stop and enjoy nature. We hope you enjoy Hills and Valleys Retreat as much as we do. (Additional cabin available to rent.) The space A non-smoking property. The main house is a very open two bedroom space (bedrooms separated with curtains from the main space) with a full kitchen, living/dining area, and a bathroom with shower (no tub). The main attraction is the large covered porch looking out over bass creek with comfy seating for relaxing or gathering together for a big family dinner. We hope you enjoy Hills and Valleys Retreat as much as we do. Guest access There are two cabins as well as the surrounding common (67+/- acres) green space including a bonfire area (with wood/water hose) and a half of a mile of creeks to roam and play in. Several trails are established. Extremely minimal poison ivy if any on the property. There are two large, flat parking areas. The first is right down the main drive, is gravel, and is adjacent to the footbridge. This will allow access at all times, even during high water. The other flat parking area is grass and is over a concrete culvert bridge (don't cross the culvert if water is flowing over it; uncommon). If the creeks are low and guests have appropriate vehicles, they may drive accross the low water crossing and park immediately next to the cabin they are renting. Other things to note The cabin and adjoining porch is a non-smoking space. We currently do not have internet access.
