This wonderful property's past life was the creamery at Pioneer Farm. It has since been converted to a wonderfully delightful two bed room one bath guest cottage. The Creamery is located on Pioneer Farm which is 140 acres of pristine farm land located just 50 miles from NYC. During your stay you can take advantage of the wonderful amenities on the property, including several short walks throughout the fields, streams and ponds located on site. If you're feeling particularly adventurous feel free to explore some of the many hiking trails including the Appalachian trail located within a short drive from the farm. If your goal is to relax and decompress just simply grab a cocktail and lounge by the pool and take in the gorgeous vista of green rolling fields. The Farm itself is our family home. It has a communal nature and as such you will be treated as one of the family during your stay. The town of Warwick itself is the jewel of the Hudson Valley featuring many shops, restaurants, cafes and one of the last true main streets. Also a five minute drive form one of the last great drive-in movie theaters! One of the great features of this listing is that a car is not necessary to get here. You can tke NJ Transit via the 196/197 ( and 1 hour and 15 mins) and from there the farm is a 10 min walk from center of town. Staying at the creamery is a great way to escape the stresses of NYC and simply just relax and get some fresh air. The creamery is slightly rustic in that the kitchen is not a full kitchen, however you have an under counter fridge to keep your drinks chilled. Included is a sink and counter top cooker but to be honest a Weber and gas grill are really all you need for cooking a summer BBQ feast. Take advantage of all the wonderful produce grown locally such as Ochs orchard next door or simply head to our vegetable garden and help yourself!
