We also offer on-site grocery delivery! The space Featured in both Architectural Digest & Glamp Magazine for its' beautiful design, this is a glamping experience like no other! Explorer's Escape offers a Queen-sized bed with a heated mattress pad, a private attached outdoor bathroom (only available in spring and summer) & a raised front porch with enough seating for 2. All towels and linens are provided. An electric heater & heated mattress pad is provided in the winter & an AC unit in the summer. During extreme temperatures (below 50°F in winter/spring and above 85°F in summer), the electric AC/Heater may not be sufficient due to the canvas tent. We provide electric fans to improve airflow, and you can also request an additional propane heater for $20/tank. We provide an insulated cooler out front to store all groceries & there's a full-sized grocery store less than 10 min away. PLEASE NOTE: the outdoor shower is only available May-September due to freezing temperatures. The private toilet is available year-round. Fall and Winter guests will have access to our indoor showers located in the adjacent bathhouse, please see the pictures for more info. Guest access In addition to your tent, there are 2 other glamping tents and a tiny cabin on site. All guests have access to the 2 grilling areas, the fire pit and the bathhouse. We also offer on-site grocery delivery! We are located off of a dirt road, rain can cause the road & entrance to get very muddy, please check with us if type of car is a concern. We are located on 7 acres of land in a very rural town. We have 3 glamping tents & 1 tiny cabin on-site (all of which are available on Airbnb) along with a few shared spaces amongst guests: 2 covered grilling areas, a centralized fire pit and an indoor bathhouse. Each tent has a private parking spot and a front porch. PLEASE NOTE: Attached outdoor shower and sink is only available May-September due to freezing temperatures. The private toilet is available year round. Guests will have access to our indoor showers located in the adjacent bathhouse, please see pictures for more info. Other things to note We offer on-site grocery delivery! Be sure to visit the "Express Grocery" tab on our property website for details. We are in a very rural area but please note, we do have neighbors on both sides of us, one of which are horses and cows :) Although we do our best to provide a high end, luxury glamping experience- due to the nature of the accommodations and the fact that it is still a canvas tent in a rural setting, please keep in mind that "camping" factors do still come into play: we cannot control the changes that both weather and the surrounding environment may cause. Wifi strength does vary due to our location- windy weather does have an impact on wifi service. Cell phone service is spotty & unreliable. During extreme temperatures (below 50°F in winter/spring and above 85°F in summer), the electric AC/Heater may not be sufficient due to the canvas tent. We provide electric fans to improve airflow, and you can also request an additional propane heater for $20/tank. Check the weather before your stay & feel free to reach out with any questions on how to best prepare for your time with us in the desert.
