Welcome to The Hideaway Madeira - the perfect getaway for couples, families or friends looking for a quiet place to relax. The garden with pool is ideal for enjoying the day or relaxing in the evening. Highlight: the panoramic view of the sea. The space Through the front door you enter the modern furnished living and dining room, which is perfect for eating, playing, reading, working and lingering together. If we welcome a larger group, we have a comfortable four-seater sofa bed in the living room. The Hideaway has a fully equipped, modern kitchen. Downstairs is also the bathroom with walk-in rain shower. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: one bedroom is furnished with a queen-size double bed. In the other bedroom there are two single beds that can be joined together to form a comfortable king-size double bed if required. Outside is a beautiful garden with lawn and flowers and shrubs typical of Madeira. The Hideaway has a super-fast internet connection (500 Mbps) - ideal for home office working away from home. BEDROOM AND BATHROOM Bedroom 1, first floor, queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm), sea view and direct access to one of the sun terraces. Bedroom 2, first floor, two single beds (90 x 190 cm), can be joined to form a king size bed (180 cm x 190 cm) if required, sea view and direct access to one of the sun terraces. Sofa bed (140 cm x 200 cm) in the living room. Baby travel cot (60 cm x 120 cm) if required: Free of charge. Please indicate if it is needed so that we can prepare everything. Bathroom, ground floor, family bathroom with sink, toilet and walk-in shower. LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM Bright and modern living and dining room with pull-out four-seater sofa and an armchair, flat screen TV with numerous national and international TV channels (in the unlikely event of boredom), Bluetooth speakers. Round dining table for up to 6 people. KITCHEN Fully equipped eat-in kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, built-in electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. EXTERIOR AREAS Beautiful south facing sun terrace with dining table for 6 people, electric sun awning and a charcoal barbecue. Garden with pool, sunbeds and umbrellas: You can look forward to a large swimming pool (optionally heated) with a size of about 3x7 meters. In addition, there are two other sun terraces to choose from: One of them is equipped with a sun lounge for up to six people, while the other one offers space for two people. These are perfect places to relax or enjoy a sundowner. Guest access The Hideaway Madeira offers secure parking for up to 2 cars - one car in the garage and a second in the courtyard. As with most accommodation in Madeira, a hire car is highly recommended, although not essential. Other things to note INTERNET The house has a very fast broadband internet connection (500 Mbps) with a Wi-Fi point that covers the entire property and can be used free of charge. The fast internet is particularly good for home office work and streaming content. BED LINEN AND TOWELS Bed linen and towels are provided. We have also packed a beach bag with parasol and beach towels. CLEANING AND LINEN CHANGE A final cleaning is provided for each stay. If required, additional intermediate cleaning or change of bed linen and towels can be booked individually. ABOUT PRAZERES The beautiful resort of Prazeres is located on the warm, sunny south coast of Madeira and is becoming increasingly popular with visitors. The village is ideally located with access to the beach and sea (about 10 minutes away by car) and to the motorway that connects most of the towns and attractions on the island. At the same time, you can enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of Madeira's countryside. Prazeres is an ideal starting point for hiking, as a variety of hiking trails start here, such as hiking trails to Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar. The very well-known and popular Levada Nova hiking trail passes right by Prazeres. SHOPPING The nearest supermarket is Meu Super in Prazeres, which is about 2 km away. Here you can find most daily necessities, a small bakery that offers fresh baked goods for breakfast. For larger purchases, it is worth going to PingoDoce in Calheta. There are also other shops and facilities for daily needs in the vicinity, such as a pharmacy, ATMs and a petrol station. NOTES ON BOOKING The rate of the Hideaway depends on the number of persons occupying the house. Therefore, please indicate the correct number of adults, children and infants.
