Canton home w/ private apartment on Grasse River

Enjoy a comfortable stay in this private second-floor apartment above attached garage with its own entrance. Sleeps up to 4, clean and well-equipped with everything you need. Dog friendly w/ prior approval. Limited yard access, weather permitting. Minimal cleaning fee, because the apartment is small, I don't charge much for cleaning, please leave space tidy, and i can keep fee low. Walk to SLU in minutes & downtown Canton; SUNY Canton is a short walk across the footbridge or quick drive. The space When you walk up the stairs, you enter an open-concept living room and kitchen filled with natural light from the front and back windows, bright from sunrise to sunset. The space is thoughtfully designed for comfort without feeling overcrowded. The kitchen table expands to full size when needed, and the ottoman in the living room converts into a bed or chair for added flexibility. Although there’s no direct river access from the property, you can enjoy peaceful river views from the backyard. Chairs are provided so you can relax under the tree and soak in the quiet. For closer access to the water, the park at the bridge—visible from the yard—offers river access. This space is best suited for a quiet, comfortable stay and is not ideal for large gatherings or parties. Parking is available for up to three cars. Please let me know if you’ll have more than one vehicle so I can adjust the spaces to accommodate. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is by 11 AM. If you need to adjust either time, please reach out in advance and I’ll do my best to accommodate. Guests with electric vehicles can use a convenient outlet to charge at no additional cost—just bring your cord and let me know in advance. Other things to note The apartment is conveniently located halfway between the four colleges in the area and about an hour and a half from Lake Placid. It’s easy to plan day trips just north of the border now that Canada is welcoming visitors again. You’re also within a short drive of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, Lake Champlain, the Thousand Islands region, and even Syracuse and Burlington (each a few hours away). There are many restaurants within a 15-mile radius, and traffic is typically light and easy. Canton is a college town, and some neighbors include students from the local campuses. While a few nights may be livelier than others, overall the neighborhood is quiet and safe. This property is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping—inside and outside. *No smoking or vaping indoors *No smoking or vaping outdoors on premises
