It is important for guests in this room to follow the quiet hours and limit activity after 10 PM to minimize the noise for the other guests. There is regular housekeeping to keep the bathroom tidy. Guest access Living room, Kitchen, Laundry, Garden During your stay I will rarely be available in person. I will regularly be available by messenger. The housekeeper, Jessica, will occasionally be available in person. Other things to note Note: The city of Medford is replacing the waterline in the neighborhood from July through October. This is limiting parking along the street and there is parking 2 blocks away. There may be several hour periods when the house does not have water. Driveway access may be temporarily limited for this reason. This home is dedicated to Airbnb guests who stay for at least a month. Occasionally, there will be shorter term visitors. Housekeeping is weekly for all shared areas of the house. Because other guests use the shared areas, these areas will likely have the some signs of being used. If you have concerns, please contact me to discuss the situation and to determine if the housekeeper needs to come ASAP. Also, the house is from 1920 it has both the charms and disadvantages of an older house. If you have the Cedar Room or the Map Room you will hear any guests in the Rose Room, which is upstairs when they move around. If you are in the Rose room, please limit your activities during quiet hours (9PM - 7 PM). Rose Room Guests: Walking with shoes, use of the built in drawers and closets are unexpectedly loud downstairs. The Rose Room has a low ceiling and is on the top-most floor. This means that summer temperatures are a bit warm. A large fan is available in the room in addition to the central air. Electronics and being in the room throughout the day will cause the temperature to be warmer. Trash and Recycling: The housekeeper will typically take the trash out on Mondays. Please help bring the trash cans back to the house on Tuesday. The recycling requires that bottles, cans, and boxes must not be in a plastic bag. Glass is separate. The house is surrounded by wisteria and grape vines. Furthermore, it is common in Southern Oregon to have periodic ants. I have a pest exterminator service the property bi-monthly and I supplement with ant traps. Therefore, there may be some dead insects. If you have questions, please contact me.
