Escape from everyday life to Malibu Hideaway! Nestled in the hills with breathtaking views of canyons, mountains, Lake Sherwood & several cities as far as the eye can see! Our furniture is hand made from sunny California reclaimed wood. Our organic luxury hybrid mattress is foam/coil for ultra comfort. Fluffy down comforter in cold months. The suite boasts a vintage style tub, record player, faux fireplace, Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, 55 inch smart t.v, table/chairs, antique tea table. The space - Just miles away from cities, famous Malibu California beaches & several wineries… yet tucked away in serene nature. We’re 3.9 Miles from Malibu Wine Tours & 8 miles from Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards! To get to the wineries you don’t even leave our canyons! - Fast internet/WIFI Able to work while vacationing. - What separates us from other Malibu canyon rentals is that at night you don't lose your view - the canyons aren't pitch black. Here you'll see several cities city light's twinkle. It's a stunning & magical view. We're situated up so high you can star gaze from your bed. - Come play corn hole or Giant Jenga amongst the trees! - Walking distance to Backbone Hiking Trail. - Star gazers paradise! - Bird, bunny, deer & squirrel watch. - Picnic on our property, soak in our vintage style bath tub while gazing at the moon. - Lounge in one of our three separate hammock areas, hang by the fire pit. The suite boasts an array of inspirational/self help, odd, biographical, mystical, & both non-fiction & fiction books! The style of the suite is an eclectic mix of old time, modern, & rustic. Many pieces in the room are neat finds from antique shops. Our bedding boasts a high quality down comforter with cool all white linens. Our all organic luxury His & Hers dual comfort mattress is made locally by Nest Bedding. The furniture (bed & dresser) are hand made locally by Urban Woods LA - made with organic stains & sustainable reclaimed wood. Enjoy your coffee or tea at our Chinese antique tea table. The spacious walk in closet has two luggage racks. Extra blankets & pillows are available in the armoire located inside of the closet. Guest access Private suite & bathroom with private deck. This is an entire guest suite rental. The rest of the home is private. Enjoy the fire pit sitting area. Follow our paths that lead to panoramic views. Lounge in one of our 3 separate hammock areas. We always leave the fire-pit table available but on occasion use it. While staying here our yard is your private forest. Feel free to explore. We live on 6 acres so there are quite a few trails and different look out points. Other things to note Please read all details thoroughly before booking our suite. This is not an entire house rental. You’ll be staying in the guest suite of our home. Separate space with self check in via key pad entry access. The suite is located on the rear 2nd story of our home. This 2nd story has only your suite & your private deck - no other rooms. The rest of home is private to owner/hosts. Hosts occupy first floor & entire rest of home. Guest suite on the 2nd story has been separated off by a wall & stairs. There is absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind allowed inside of the suite. You can smoke outside on your private deck or at the fire pit. There is also NO SMOKING at the hammocks or on the trails on our property. We live in a high fire area so there are only two designated smoking areas. There's a $250 charge for smoking inside of the suite. We are on a septic system. We kindly ask that you do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Our space is a couples or girlfriends getaway. The suite only allows for two people. If there are more guests present than the two in your reservation there will be a $90 charge per person.
