Beautifully updated home nestled among the trees just along the edges of Colonial National Historic Park. Great location to everything you might want to see! A few minutes bike ride to the gorgeous Colonial Parkway; go shopping at the Outlets; explore historic Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown; spend the day at the beach, or just rest in this haven! High Speed Internet and cozy atmosphere... put your feet up and relax! The space We have recently updated this little beauty! Close to everything you might want to see in the historic triangle, but quietly nestled among the trees. Isn’t it so relaxing to step into an updated space with clean features and cozy corners? We added a stand alone tub, tiled walls and floor, and a granite vanity in the master bath for a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the modern feel of the kitchen with granite counter tops, new appliances and a farm sink. Come enjoy something modern but rustic in the midst of all this great history! *We have recently added a top rated air purifier that will take viruses and bacteria out of the air. We hope that this will further help to keep everyone safe and healthy! *Sadly, someone bought the property next door and has now cut down all the trees on their side of the property. Though there are still some trees, we plan to plant a tall hedge to add more green back into the woods! There is still woods on all other sides of our home. Master Bedroom: king bed, 2 night stands, 1 dresser, TV, 1 rocking chair with table, 2 lamps, 2 trunks for decoration. Master bathroom: free standing tub/hand held shower, double sinks each with their own mirror and outlet, hair dryer, private toilet closet, walk in closet with hangers. 1st Guest room: queen bed, 2 night stands, 1 dresser, 1 chair, 1 lamp, closet with hangers (portable high chair and pack n play located here.) 2nd Guest room: 1 bunk bed (2 single beds), 1 night stand with drawers, 1 lamp, 1 chair, 1 bean bag, and closet with hangers. Hall bath: shared by both guest rooms, 1 walk-in shower (no tub), toilet, sink, outlet, extra towel hanger on back of door. Living room: couch with 2 reclining ends, chair, rocking chair, 1 end table, coffee table TV stand, TV, DVD player, 2 lamps, 1 closet, a Bose speaker for music (connect your phone with Bluetooth.) There are games and DVD’s in the TV stand and kids toys in the closet. Dining room: farm table with 4 chairs, old fashioned wooden toddler high chair. Kitchen: side by side fridge/freezer with filtered water and ice dispenser, cooktop stove, full oven, stainless farm sink, dishwasher, toaster, blender, hand mixer, fully stocked with place settings for 12 (both plastic and ceramic options), glasses, mugs, plastic cups, sippy cups, extra silverware, pots and frying pans, baking sheets, casserole dishes, cutting boards, knives, spatulas, wooden spoons, regular coffee maker, Keurig, coffee grinder, French press and many other things. Feel free to ask, if you’d like to know something specific about the kitchen. Pantry: full closet pantry with mostly empty shelves for room for your food/supplies. We have oil, vinagre, salt, pepper, etc. Broom, dust pan, and mop also located here. Front Room: this is the one carpeted room in the house. It has the washer, dryer, round table with 3 chairs, shelf with mirror and outlet. This is the space where we set up the queen air mattress if you need it. It allows these guests to have a private room with a door that closes as well as a mirror and an outlet if they want to get ready in this space. Hall closet: ironing board, iron, vacuum, cleaning supplies, etc. All beds have pillows, sheets and quilts provided. There are extra blankets in the closets if you are cold. We provide 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per person, 2 hand towels per bathroom. 2 extra towels under the sink in each bathroom. We also provide 1 laundry detergent pod, if you’d like to wash your towels in the middle your stay. Please bring your own beach towels. We do not provide beach towels, and we ask that you do not take take our towels to the beach, please! We supply paper products for a few days’ stay. If you are staying longer or need more, you will need to buy/bring it. We supply: 2 full toilet paper rolls for each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, dish soap is in the dispenser built into the sink, 2 kitchen cloths, 4 trash bags total (2 in the cans, 2 under the sink), dishwasher detergent, disinfectants under the sink. We provide 2 kitchen hand towels and a microfiber cloth that can be used as a rag to disinfect or as a kitchen cloth. Shampoo and body wash are provided in large bottles in each bathroom, as well as hand soap by each sink. Child proof outlet covers can be found in the drawer in the island if you have concerns for your child. Please put them back in their container in drawer before you leave. Guest access We have recently renovated this sweet little home. Please enjoy the entire place! ... the garage will not be open or available to guests, but the house and the yard are yours to enjoy! Other things to note As noted in the listing, we can sleep 6 in beds. If you need more than that, the air mattress and the corresponding linens are available by request. Unless specifically requested, it will not be provided. Please note that 8 people (including children) is our max capacity at any time. At the risk of losing our permit, we cannot have more than 8 guests at the property.
