~ 1,700 sqft 3b/3ba home w/end of road privacy, ~7 wooded & open acres. Quiet rural setting among forests & farms. Nearby shopping & conveniences in Covington; 3 miles to Costco, Fred Meyer etc. Close to Seattle, Rainier, Cascades, Olympic Mtns & more. In East Kent, near Auburn/Covington. Please note, we allow NO parties. Please do not ask, we make no exceptions. A family dinner, yes. Please read "The Space" & note we have an aquarium service that comes inside every 2 weeks & a Gardener. The space Beautiful home on ~7 private acres. Yard with fruit trees (seasonal), large lawn area, wooded area, small seasonal creek and pond, and ferns. Our goats are currently not at this location. The goats are sometimes at our house just down the road, working hard at keeping the blackberry bushes trimmed. We have recently added a salt water aquarium. Please do not feed the fish, they have an automatic feeder (special food). The "Aquarium Guy" comes every other Wednesday to maintain the tank inside the house. Our gardener may also come while you are there. There is a power line easement that runs across the back acres of the property. It is visible in the background of several of the listing photos. It is part of the property. 3 bedroom 3 bath home with a covered porch, deck, dining room and laundry. Master bedroom has a king bed with a 50" HDTV flat screen TV, and a jacuzzi tub and shower in the bathroom, 1 bdr with a queen bed with a TV and the third bedroom has a twin bed trundle (2 twins). Forced air heat and air conditioning as well as a pellet wood stove. Hardwoods, laminate, carpet & tile throughout the home. 55" HDTV , DVD. in the living room. WIFI. There are a number of movies available on the DVR . IMPORTANT: A Catio (covered screened in patio for family's visiting cats) has been added for occasional visits by my parents' cats. It is off of the master bedroom. All ramps and shelves have a 20 pound weight limit. Please do not allow children to play in this small area and do not sit or put any weight on any of the shelves or walking ramps. Repairs are very expensive, per the contractor. There is a covered porch on the front of the house by the front door for your family's use and an open deck on the back of the house. Guest access Exclusive access to the house during your stay (except the Catio; see The Space) Full access to roam the 7 acres. Owner will visit the property to do mowing, yard maintenance and goat care. We will not enter the home during your stay unless requested or an urgent issue arises. My parents sometimes leave their RV parked on the property at any time Spring through Fall. It cannot be seen from inside the house. If they are visiting during your stay, they will not come on the house side of the property. You may not even see them. They would stay in either the RV, if there, or the detached shop. You are welcome and encouraged to roam all of the 7 acres. Our check in time is after 4p, and check-out at 11am. If our housekeeper is not resetting the home for guests leaving and arriving the same day, the check in and check out time are quite flexible to your needs. Other things to note With 1 king, 1 queen bed, and one twin trundle bed (pair), our house comfortably accommodates 6 adults/children. We have a gardener who comes as needed (~ once every 2+ weeks) . He/she will not come before 8:20 a.m. on any given day. The Aquarium Guy will do salt water tank maintenance every other Wednesday. He will need to come inside to do this. Owner's parents visit with their 2 cats one or two times a year; July and/or December. House is thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed after each visit with extra attention after cats have visited, for those with fur allergies.
