The Pinkhams Cove Lakeside Cottage on Great Pond (Golden Pond, Belgrade Lakes) is bright and welcoming inside. A beautiful interior and an inviting outdoor space with a private sandy beach makes this the perfect place for family and friends to make Maine memories. This location is wonderful to enjoy all of Maine’s seasons. The space The entire house is yours, with the largest body of water in the Belgrades in your backyard. There is a private sandy beach with gradual entry into the water and a large dock. It is truly perfect for all ages! Guests are welcome to use the kayaks at their discretion, as well as any other beach toys/furniture. There are two adult and two child sit on top kayaks. The backyard is spacious for yard games, and the back deck is a great spot to lounge steps away from the lake. We've made some upgrades to the home and furnishings in hopes of creating the best possible experience! You can expect a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, high speed internet, and many other extras. We have tried our best to think of everything that you may need during your stay, so that it is truly your home away from home. The master bedroom has a queen bed, as well as a small couch that folds down into a floor mattress that could be used for a younger child. The second bedroom, which was once two separate rooms, has a twin over full bunk bed on one side and a twin day bed on the other, with a twin trundle as well. We've listed the home as sleeping six, which only accounts for the true beds/mattresses. Usually in October, the dock is pulled out of the water and rests on the left side of the backyard. It is usually put back in some time during May. The exact timing is always up to the dock company. We’ve included two pictures at the end of the photo album, showing what the yard looks like during this time. Guest access The entire home is accessible to guests including driveway parking, the backyard, private sandy beach, and many extra fun amenities. Special Accommodations can be made for boat & trailer parking.
