Enjoy the best of the Katahdin Region and relax in this clean, easily accessible 2nd floor apartment with parking right outside the door. Located in a commercial district close to amenities it's centrally located between Baxter State Park, Penobscot River Trails, Katahdin Woods and Water and the five lakes. Enjoy the outdoors with hiking, biking, boating, swimming, white water rafting and more.... all close by. The space The cathedral ceilings in the LR/DR/KI area add to the spaciousness. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and some spices. There's a new queen sized mattress from( Nov 22) which makes for a comfortable stay. There is a new (Nov 2023) full sized futon in the LR converts to a sleeper for a third guest or fourth if they don't mind being cozy. Guest access When you arrive at the building, follow the driveway to the back side of the building. Take the stairs to the second floor, it's the first door at the top of the stairs. You will be able to access the entire apartment. We do have a lockbox on the deck and will provide the code ahead of your visit. There is a generous backyard available for your use, including a wooden glider, a picnic table and areas to set up outdoor games. The yard extends beyond the birch trees to the south and a large grassed area to the east.
