Live on a farm without the work! Property has long respectable history dating back to late 1770s when it was one of the original taverns. *This is a rustic cabin* Wake up to mountain views and sounds of animals! Chickens, turkey, pigs, goats, and sheep all wait to meet you during your stay. Enjoy the many area attractions, public beaches, shopping, and close by essentials such as gas and grocery store. If relaxing is what you're searching for, relax reading a book with field and mountain views! Please note this is a VERY small rustic cabin, there is NO running water, NO electricity, etc. Your bathroom is a porta potty. Think camping - with a wood tent :) bring your sleeping bag and anything you would normally bring to go camping but leave the tent at home. There is a memory form queen bed with included fresh linen, end tables and some storage for your belongings. Your “living room” is outside. We list it as up to four - two adults and two children have stayed comfortably. More than 2 adults is probably a little tight. You will be parking about 40 yards away. It’s a brief walk around the barn. If needed, our son does offer drop off and pick up services -just let us know. Camp wood, charcoal, farm meat and more are available to purchase. There are animals and other campers. The cabin is yours and you also have a small grassy area with table, chairs, fire pit and charcoal grill. There may be other guests staying during your stay, not in the exact location, but at the farm. This area is relatively private. Due to COVID-19 please DO NOT approach the house or other guests. With COVID-19 we are asking for social distancing - pls do not approach house and keep distance of 10+ feet if you see us outside. Should you need anything just msg text or call This is a peaceful neighborhood and a family friendly environment here on the farm. Please no loud inappropriate talking, swearing etc. quiet time is 9pm on. We are on a peaceful mountain side that is really quiet and peaceful yet minutes from everything you would need at the store gas station pharmacy etc. Due to state guidelines, guests will need to complete a brief questionnaire and sign attestation. There are exterior security cameras around main house and barn. There are other farmstay guests. Please social distance. Do not approach the house. You will receive a welcome packet with directions, area attractions, etc Please do not move the fire pit away from rocks or move chairs, tables, etc in general. The umbrella must be put down at night, when not at the cabin, or during windy events. Please have fun and enjoy your time with us!
