Guest suite in Vancouver

Welcome to our cozy suite on the main level with its own private entrance. We are located in the heart of Douglas Park. Suite has a lovely kitchenette for light meals. No stove or oven. Close to downtown, restaurants, coffee shops, groceries. Close walk to VGH, BC Children's and Women's Hospital, GF Strong, BC Cancer Agency. 15 min walk to the King Edward train station (Canada line). 5 min walk to Oak Street bus. Free street parking. Option of additional bedroom upon request. The space You will have your own entrance to your private self contained suite. No sharing. Located on the garden/main level of our house. Suite has its own kitchenette and bathroom. Kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, kettle, toaster. There is no stove and no oven. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, cold drinks and snacks. Double bed with cozy Casper mattress. Please note that the desk has been replaced with a couch. Suite is well equipped with heaters, fans, hair dryer, toiletries, luggage rack, umbrella Laundry is available on request for longer stays. Guest access There is a a small walkway on a cobbled pathway to the suite. The suite is at the ground level (no stairs). Inside the suite - there is one step at the end of the bedroom towards the kitchen, washroom, and hallway/closet. Free street parking is available in front or at the side of our house. Other things to note - Please note that we cannot host animals due to allergies. - Although the ceiling height of the bedroom is 6 ft 5 in (196 cm) extra tall guests are advised. Remainder of the suite has shorter ceiling height. - You might hear footsteps and noises from upstairs, this is an older home with wood floors. - No drugs or parties allowed. - There is no smoking/vaping allowed anywhere on the premises. Smoking or vaping inside the suite will result in a $200 additional cleaning fee automatically. - For liability reasons, guests may not bring visitors to our home.
