A Beautifully restored Canarian Finca, with private pool and spectacular views of Volcanic hills and the Femes valley. Four self-contained cottages offer accommodation for up to 12 close to all the amenities in the South of Lanzarote. The property is believed to be over 250 years old and offers peace to those that wish to relax, swim, read, or paint, and is also well located for those that wish to be more active and walk, cycle or ride into the surrounding hills. The space La Casa de la Caldera is a beautiful traditional Canarian Finca built around an internal courtyard. It is situated in the village of Casitas de Femes and has beautiful views down the Femes valley and across the surrounding volcanic hills. It is divided into 4 self-contained apartments that can be let individually or in combinations to accommodate family/friends parties of up to 12. The main building has two apartments El Patio and Puesta del Sol each with 2 double bedrooms and the third Valle de Femes apartment with one. When let together, all apartments can share the internal courtyard for communal alfresco dining or just relaxing in the shade. All apartments have spacious lounges, well equipped kitchens and bathrooms. A fourth apartment is situated on the far side of the pool from the main house and offers very private and secluded accommodation for 2. The Finca has a large walled and gated garden planted with palm trees, succulent plants and cacti, in which is situated a 10 metre solar heated pool, with extensive sun terraces and pergolas, also the novel feature of a full sized Canarian bolas (bowls) court. La Casa de la Caldera offers peace to those that wish to relax, swim, read, or paint, it is very well located for those that wish to be more active and walk, cycle or ride into the surrounding hills. Good restaurants and bars are within easy reach in the neighbouring villages of Femes, Uga and Yaiza and the marinas at Puerto Calero and Rubicon. The larger resort of Playa Blanca and Timanfaya National Park are close by and some of the best beaches on the island at Papagayo, Playa Quemada and Playa Dorada, are within 10 minutes drive. Guest access When all the apartments in the main house are together to groups of family and friends, all apartments have access to the internal courtyard, which is wonderful space for alfresco dining or relaxing in the sun or shade. Wifi is available to all apartments in the main house. A walled garden containing a 10M pool and extensive sun terraces as well as a bowls court is available to all guests, Parking is available adjacent to each apartment entrance.
